Why This Aquaponics Fish Unit

Aquaponics fish farming, ready-to-grow tomatoes and lettuce in Grow Bed. The tilapia and netter are growing in Fish Tank. Today’s video is going to introduce you to the home-based Aquaponics unit of Mr. Alavi Kutty, a native of Malappuram, Kerala with the goal of producing pure fish and vegetables for home use. Many friends have asked how to start home aquaculture at low cost. This Aquaponics unit will serve as a model for them.

How made this Aquaponics Unit

The two IBC tanks, which hold 1000 liters of water each, are where the fish grow. They also have enough fish for home. The three blue barrels are cut vertically and make 6 Grow Beds. Spinach and tomato are yielding in Grow bed. An aerator with 20 watts is installed to provide oxygen for Fishes. The water from the fish pond is pumped into the Grow bed above the terrace.

In this unit Grow beds are situated the top of the Terrace and Fish Tanks down side A lot of friends have asked how to start home aquaculture at low cost. This video is meant to make this unit a model for all of them. Again we will see another video. Thanks.
