• Full Submersion Required: Always ensure the filter pump is completely submerged in water before plugging it in. Running the motor dry will cause permanent damage.

• Maintenance Safety: Always disconnect the filter from the electrical socket before performing any cleaning or maintenance inside the aquarium.

• Proper Handling: Do not lift or pull the pump unit by its power cord, as this can sever the internal wiring. The power supply cord cannot be replaced.

• Create a Drip Loop: During installation, ensure the power socket outlet is positioned higher than the tank, or create a dip in the wire (a drip loop) to guarantee that water will not backflow along the cord into the electrical socket.
