To ensure your Bluepet BL-A02 filter operates at peak efficiency and keeps your aquatic pets healthy, follow these simple manufacturer guidelines:

Easy Setup Instructions:

1. Connect standard aquarium airline tubing to the filter's side inlet nozzle, then place the entire square filter unit directly inside your tank, allowing it to sink to the bottom.

2. Connect the opposite end of the airline tubing to your external air pump.

3. Plug the air pump into the electrical socket. Note: Always keep your air pump positioned higher than the water level or use a check valve to prevent water backflow.

4. Once you see bubbles emerging from the top outlet, the filter is actively working. (Larger bubbles may appear initially, but they will return to a normal, fine size after about 1 hour of operation).

Routine Maintenance:

• Clean the accumulated debris from the yellow filter sponge regularly using drained aquarium water. Do not use tap water, as the chlorine will destroy the beneficial bacteria.

• To maintain optimal oxygen-making power and filtration efficiency, the manufacturer recommends replacing the filter sponge and the internal filter stones (or activated carbon) every 6 to 8 weeks.
