Setup & Maintenance Tips

1. Fully Submersible: This unit is designed to work underwater. Ensure the pump head is fully submerged before plugging it in to avoid running dry.

2. Oxygenation: Connect the clear air tube to the nozzle and hang the other end outside the tank to inject oxygen bubbles into the water stream.

3. Cleaning: The filter baskets snap apart easily. Rinse the internal sponges in aquarium water (not tap water) during your regular maintenance to keep the good bacteria alive.

4. Placement: Use the suction cups to mount the filter vertically on the back or side glass.
