Setup & Installation Guide

To ensure the longest lifespan for your Hailea air pump, please follow the installation diagram provided on the packaging:

1. Placement: Always place the air pump on a flat surface above the water level of the aquarium if possible.

2. Use Check Valves: If you must place the pump below the water level (e.g., inside a cabinet), you must install non-return check valves on both air lines. This prevents water from siphoning back into the pump during a power outage and destroying the motor.

3. Maintenance: Regularly check and replace clogged air stones, as severe back-pressure can damage the internal rubber diaphragms over time.

4. Safety First: Disconnect all plugs of electrical aquarium appliances before putting your hands into the water.
