  Setup & Maintenance Tips

1. Total Submersion: The pump must be completely submerged in water to operate correctly. "Do not let the pump run dry" to avoid motor damage.

2. Air Setup: Connect the clear air tube to the nozzle. Position the other end (with the black intake valve) outside the tank to pull in air for bubbles.

3. Cleaning: "Performing regular maintenance can prolong the life span of the pump." Detach the bottom cup and rinse the sponge in old aquarium water (never tap water) to remove waste while protecting beneficial bacteria.

4. Safety: Always disconnect the electrical socket before performing maintenance or putting your hands in the water.
