Easy Installation & Important Safety Guidelines

To ensure the safety of your equipment and the best performance from your Liny LY-401 filter, please follow these simple steps:

1. Mounting: Hang the filter body securely over the edge of your fish tank. Ensure your tank is stable and the water level is high enough to reach the pump's inlet.

2. Assembly: Connect the modular inlet pipes and strainer based on the depth of your aquarium.

3. Crucial Priming Step: Do not operate without water! Before plugging the device into an electrical socket, you must pour a small amount of aquarium water directly into the filter housing to soak the sponge and submerge the pump.

4. Power On: Once primed, connect the power. The pump will begin drawing water into the cylinder within seconds, creating a gentle, oxygen-rich waterfall back into the tank.

5. Safety: Never allow the pump to run dry. If you notice an abnormal drop in water output, immediately disconnect the power and clean or replace the filter sponge. Do not use in water exceeding 35°C.
