Setup & Usage Tips

1. Initial Priming: "Please add water to this filter in the first time use." Before plugging it in, fill the filter chamber with water to start the pump motor.                                          
2. Skimmer Adjustment: The "Oil film processor can adjust the right and left." Rotate the skimmer head to control the balance between bottom intake and surface skimming.
   

    

3. Positioning: Hang the filter on the back wall of your aquarium. Ensure the intake tube is extended enough to reach deep into the tank but not touching the substrate.

    

4. Cleaning: Rinse the blue sponge in old aquarium water (not tap water) during water changes to preserve the beneficial bacteria living inside.
