Planting Guide: The Dry Start Method

To ensure the best germination rates and prevent the lightweight seeds from floating away, the "Dry Start Method" is highly recommended for planting:

• Spread a layer of nutrient-rich aquarium soil (active substrate) in an empty, unflooded aquarium.

• Thoroughly moisten the substrate with a spray bottle, ensuring it is heavily damp but not pooling with water.

• Cover the top of the aquarium with plastic cling wrap to create a humid, greenhouse-like environment, leaving a very small gap for air circulation.
