Setup & Maintenance Tips

Total Submersion: This is a submersible pump. You must operate the pump completely underwater for proper cooling. "Do not let the pump run dry".

Air Injection: To use the aeration feature, attach the clear tube to the nozzle. Position the end of the tube above the water surface to allow the filter to pull in air.

Cleaning: Regularly remove the bottom filter canister and rinse the sponge. Use aquarium water for cleaning (not tap water) to preserve the beneficial bacteria living in the sponge.

Safety: Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply before putting your hands in the water for maintenance.
