Setup & Maintenance Tips

1. Fully Submerge: This pump must be operated completely underwater. "Do not let the pump run dry" as this can damage the motor.

2. Aeration Setup: Attach the clear air tube to the nozzle. Keep the other end (with the black valve) hanging outside the tank to draw in air.

3. Cleaning: Regularly detach the bottom filter cartridge and rinse the sponge in aquarium water (not tap water) to remove debris without killing beneficial bacteria.

4. Safety First: "Always disconnect from electrical outlet before handling the pump" or putting your hands in the water.
