Setup & Maintenance Tips

1. Mandatory Submersion: This pump is designed to be fully submerged. To prevent permanent motor damage, always ensure the pump body is entirely underwater before plugging it in.

2. Overhead Filter Hookup: Attach the blue flexible hose to the top outlet of the pump to easily push water up into a top filter box.

3. Routine Cleaning: Regularly detach and rinse the grey intake strainer. A clogged strainer will drastically reduce the 800 L/H flow rate and put unnecessary strain on the 10W motor.
