Setup & Maintenance Tips

1. Submersion: This is a fully submersible pump. To prevent the motor from burning out, always ensure the pump is completely submerged in water before plugging it into a power source.

2. Filtration Hookup: Use the blue flexible hose to easily route water from the pump up into an overhead trickle filter box.

3. Routine Cleaning: Regularly detach and rinse the grey intake strainer to remove trapped leaves and debris. A clogged strainer will significantly reduce the pump's flow rate and strain the motor.
