To prolong the life span of the pump and maintain optimal water quality, please strictly adhere to the manufacturer's safety instructions:

1. Submersion is Mandatory: "Alawys ensure the pump is submerged in water" before connecting it to power. Running a submersible motor dry will permanently damage the unit.

2. Proper Handling: "Do not lift the pump unit by pulling the wire (Power Cord)".

3. Routine Sponge Cleaning: "A clogged or dirty intake screen will generally reduce the performance of the pump. Hence,you must wash away the surrounded debris frequently". Gently squeeze the sponge out in a small bucket of used aquarium water during your weekly water change to preserve beneficial bacteria.
