• Complete Submersion: The pump must be kept completely underwater at all times during operation. Running the motor dry will cause it to rapidly overheat and sustain permanent damage.

• Secure Mounting: Use the provided suction cup bracket to mount the pump firmly against the clean glass of your aquarium to minimize vibration noise.

• Impeller Maintenance: If you notice a drop in flow rate over time, unplug the pump, remove the front casing, and gently clean the magnetic impeller and shaft. Removing built-up algae and slime will instantly restore performance.

• Safety First: Always disconnect the power head from your electrical supply before putting your hands in the water or performing any routine tank maintenance.
