Important Operating Instructions:

• Complete Submersion: The pump must be kept completely submerged in water at all times during operation. Running the pump dry or in freezing temperatures will cause the motor to overheat and sustain permanent damage.

• Handling the Pump: Never carry, lift, or pull the pump unit by its electrical power cord. Always handle it by the main plastic body.

• Routine Maintenance: A clogged intake screen will significantly reduce the performance of the pump. Regularly remove the front cover to wash away trapped debris. For a deep clean, remove the impeller cover and use a small brush to clean the magnetic cylinder and ceramic shaft under running water.

• Safety First: Always disconnect the power plug from the electrical socket before putting your hands in the water or performing any maintenance. Form a "drip loop" with the power cord to ensure water cannot travel down the wire to the electrical outlet.
