To ensure the long life of your filter and the safety of your aquatic ecosystem, please follow the manufacturer's operational guidelines:

• Submersion is Required: The pump must be fully submerged in water during operation. Never let the pump run dry, and do not operate it in water temperatures exceeding 35°C or below freezing.

• Proper Handling: Never carry, lift, or pull the filter unit by its electrical power cord.

• Routine Cleaning: A clogged intake screen or dirty sponge will significantly reduce the performance of the pump. Clean the sponge frequently. To protect your biological filtration, gently squeeze the sponge in a bucket of siphoned aquarium water rather than untreated tap water.

• Impeller Care: If flow decreases, disconnect the power, remove the front cover and impeller cover, and use a small brush to clean the cylinder and impeller unit to remove built-up slime.

• Safety First: Always disconnect the electrical plug from the socket before performing any maintenance or putting your hands in the aquarium water.
