Important Operating Instructions:

• Submersion is Mandatory: The entire pump unit must be completely submerged in water during operation. Never let the pump run dry, and do not operate it in water temperatures exceeding 35°C or below freezing, as this will permanently damage the motor.

• Proper Handling: Never lift, carry, or pull the filter unit by its electrical power cord. Always handle the main plastic body.

• Routine Sponge Cleaning: A clogged intake screen or dirty sponge will significantly reduce the pump's performance. Clean the sponge frequently. Pro-Tip: To protect your beneficial bacteria, gently squeeze the sponge in a bucket of siphoned aquarium water rather than untreated tap water.
