Crucial Priming Step: Attention: please add full water before working. Hang-on filters cannot run dry. You must manually fill the main filter body with aquarium water before plugging the unit into your electrical socket to prime the pump and prevent motor burnout.

Assembly Note: Ensure proper sealing during reassembly; the pump must fix right to the filter box to operate correctly and avoid leaks.
