Wajababy Round Hanging Aquarium Plant Pots (2-Piece Set)
Elevate your aquascape and improve your water quality naturally with the Wajababy Round Hanging Plant Pots, available now at www.onyxaqua.com. This convenient 2-piece set of transparent aquatic planters allows you to easily cultivate emergent terrestrial plants—like Pothos, Peace Lilies, or Spider Plants—directly out of the top of your aquarium.
By suspending the roots in your aquarium water while the foliage grows above, these planters create a stunning "riparium" effect and act as a powerful natural filter, absorbing excess nitrates and providing a healthier environment for your fish.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Slotted Net Pot Design: Features wide vertical slits surrounding the basket and bottom, promoting maximum water circulation and oxygen exchange for rapid, healthy root growth.
-
Secure Rim Holder: Designed with a sturdy, built-in hanging bracket that slips effortlessly over the glass edge of your aquarium, keeping the pot perfectly positioned at the water's surface.
-
Root Protection: Safely encases the main root ball of your plants, protecting them from being uprooted or nibbled on by curious or herbivorous fish.
-
Aquarium-Safe Material: Crafted from durable, non-toxic, transparent/frosted plastic that seamlessly blends into your tank's aesthetic without leaching harmful chemicals into the water.
-
Natural Nitrate Reduction: By facilitating the growth of emergent plants, these pots help naturally export heavy nitrates and phosphates, reducing the frequency of water changes.

Setup & Aquascaping Tips
How to use your Wajababy Planters:
Rinse the plastic pots thoroughly with plain tap water before introducing them to your tank.
Gently place your thoroughly rinsed plant roots (free of any soil or fertilizers) into the basket. You may use aquatic clay pebbles or LECA balls to help anchor the plant stems if needed.
Hang the pot on the rim of your aquarium so that the bottom half of the basket is submerged in the flowing water.
Ensure your aquarium light or natural room light is sufficient to support the foliage growing above the tank.
