Setup & Maintenance Tips

1. Assembly: Attach the intake tube with the surface skimmer to the main filter body.

2. Hang & Level: Place the filter on the back of your aquarium glass (max 12mm). Ensure the intake is submerged.

3. Priming is Essential: Before plugging it in, fill the filter chamber completely with water. This is crucial for the pump to create suction and start circulating water.

4. Skimmer Adjustment: Rotate the valve on the skimmer to control the balance of surface skimming versus bottom intake flow.

5. Cleaning: Rinse the filter plates and sponge in tank water every few weeks. Replace the carbon plates every 4-6 weeks for optimal chemical filtration.
