To ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning session, please follow these steps:

1. Assemble the Cleaner: Connect the rigid water intake tubes to the main handle grip. If you have a deeper tank, use the extension connector to join both rigid tubes. Attach the flexible hose to the outlet valve.

2. Secure the Hose: Use the provided fixture clamp to attach the flexible outlet hose securely to the edge of your drainage bucket to prevent spills.

3. Position for Siphoning: This cleaner operates on the siphon principle. The water outlet (your bucket) must be positioned lower than the bottom of the fish tank for the water to discharge continuously.

4. Start the Flow: Submerge the rigid vacuum tube into the aquarium. Press the top air button several times until water crests the peak of the handle and begins flowing down the hose automatically.

5. Clean the Substrate: Plunge the vacuum head directly into your sand or gravel. Fish waste and debris will be sucked up, while the heavier gravel falls back down. Adjust the flow control valve if you notice sand being pulled too high up the tube.
