How to Use:

1. Rinse: Briefly rinse the ceramic bar in tap water or old tank water to remove any dust from shipping before placing it in your filter.

2. Placement: Place the bars in your filter's biological stage (after the mechanical sponges/floss).

3. Stacking: Thanks to the flat sides, you can stack multiple bars tightly in your sump to create a massive "bacteria house" engine for your tank

4. Maintenance: If the media gets dirty, simply rinse it in a bucket of aquarium water during your water change. Never clean with tap water or soap, as this will kill the beneficial bacteria.
